if it didn't say who written this book, I sure would have thought J.K wrote it. I would have given it 5 stars if she wrote it. A must read book.

Good Story

The plot and story were enjoyable. There were however inconsistencies from Rowlings story. Voldemort and Ollivander were ignorant about the deathly hollows. They only knew of the elder wand. This is I consistent with the premise early on in the story. This book was also missing the masterful descriptions that JK Rowlings so beautifully wove throughout her series. An overall good effort though.

I Salute the Effort

The author is, like many of us, clearly in love with the world presented in the J K Rowland books. I just re-read the series and felt bereft at having to emerge and leave it behind, it's especially difficult to pick up "Muggle" books based in magical worlds and not be able to find home as provided by Rowland. So, for those reasons, I admire Jacobs labor of love. I would suggest though that Jacobs create a team of like minded individuals who can suggest, edit, and cheerlead future efforts. Writing a book based on a beloved series takes real guts, and though the story line is admittedly fragmented, the author has them. I struggled continuously against the variety of confusing story lines, wording errors, the writing that often reminded me of a local role playing game plot, and a general feeling of "WTF?" That said, I immediately adopted some of the ideas the author pursued, such as an alliance between Harry and Draco, ideas that round out, complete the Rowland stories. It's my hope that Jacobs gets line by line feedback on this book, in order to build his skill level. His future voice could be an important one for those of us dedicated to the genre. All in all, worth the frustration.

Not a JK Rowling Read

It seemed to me that the book moved rather slow and that Harry was always getting beat up, hurt, next to killed, and it was as if and the bad wizards always knew more and better magic that he did.

Not bad

Apart from the terrible grammar etc this was pretty good, it filled in the gaps jk left when she went forward 19 years in book 7. I'd recommend

Not true fan fiction

The editing is horrible . The characters were nothing like HP. Not true fan fiction . This is something that I would think a preteen girl with a failing grade in English wrote.

Why is this available on Amazon?

While you can see that the author put a lot of time into building this piece of fan fiction, it appears that nobody else did. Any proofreading looks to have been done by middle school students and it doesn't appear that an editor was brought in at all. The misspellings and poor grammar were enough to cause me stop reading after 40 pages. It was as if the author used text to speech software and didn't bother correcting any of the incorrectly dictated words.

The characters were not true to those developed by JK Rowling and I found them to be absolutely unbelievable. This was clear after the first 20 pages or so.

How and why is this available on Amazon?

I did not get to finish this book because someone was using my visa card and they stopped all transactions on it so my subscription got cancelled and for the life of me I can't get it back on my kindle to read not available on Amazon, not in any library so I was left hanging at the crucial part of the book! If anyone can help please let me know!

Well written, but missed words

A well written book, but the misspelled words and missing words make it difficult to follow at times. A must read for the Harry

.....

The reader proofreads much. Sentence structure is circular and descriptions are long winded. The characters are shallow and over simplified.
