Kasey Michaels is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than 100 books (she doesn't count them). Kasey has received three coveted Starred Reviews from Publishers Weekly, two for the historical romances, THE SECRETS OF THE HEART and THE BUTLER DID IT, and a third for contemporary romance LOVE TO LOVE YOU BABY (that shows diversity, you see). She is a recipient of the RITA, a Waldenbooks and Bookrak Bestseller award, and many awards from Romantic Times magazine, including a Career Achievement award for her Regency era historical romances. She is an Honor Roll author in Romance Writers of America, Inc. (RWA)

Kasey has appeared on the TODAY show, and was the subject of a Lifetime Cable TV show "A Better Way," in conjunction with Good Housekeeping magazine, a program devoted to women and how they have achieved career success in the midst of motherhood (short version: "with great difficulty").

A highly praised nonfiction book, written as Kathryn Seidick, "...OR YOU CAN LET HIM GO," details the story of Kasey and her family during the time of her eldest son's first kidney transplant.

Kasey has written Regency romances, Regency historicals, category books including novellas and continuities and a few series "launch" books, and single title contemporaries. She has coped with time travel, ghosts, trilogies, the dark side, the very light side, and just about everything in between. Hers is also the twisted mind behind her ongoing Maggie Kelly mystery series starring a former romance writer turned historical mystery writer whose gorgeous hunk of a fictional hero shows up, live and in color, in her Manhattan living room – to melt her knees, to help her solve murders, and to leave the top off her toothpaste. And, says Kasey, she's just getting started!

This is my first Kasey micheals book, liked her writting but she describes a lot about the surroundings,clothes,plant.......... it goes on n on n on

this book was a unplanned pregnancy story where in big sister Jessie sleeps with baby sister's fiance Mathew on the day the engagement is called off by Maddy cause she is in love with another man, though the decision was mutual but everyone thinks Matt is the victim poor guy being dumped few days before wedding

Both Jessie-Mathew fall in love with each other long before but both never go out or express their feelings under some misconception they treat each other formally n socially they are polite to each other.Mathew thinks Jessis is a carreer oriented woman who does'nt wants the baby,Jessie keeps whinning a lot and Mathew such a stupid man he told right he himself is a big problem for himself, all the fights mathew quoted it as hormones, mood swing god i had so many anger mood swings wanted to hit him,i was really angry Jeesiw believed that Mathew was on rebound and he proposed cause of the baby yet she just gave away the minister's name kept quiet and later keeps whinning what marraige will i have, how will i be happy

Truly was bored, there was no issue at all between them other then both loved but were scared to confess their feelings and Matt kept lying playing the victim gaining sympathy from Jessie though he bravely confessed to Ryan abt his love for Jessie who is Jessie's brother

I felt the story was dragged for too long,it would have been much better if the book had been a novella, really no issues nothing

Though the loved the way the unborn child spoke inbetween, really liked that thing and secondary characters the grand mother n housekeeper both were good

okay read,not a keeper

The whole plot made no sense. The H supposedly had been in love with h for years and ofcourse his way of showing his love is getting engaged to h's younger sister. The h is an ambitious career woman and her sister is a domestic goddess and her brother is his best friend and their grandmother is someone he admires. With such amazing family, if you love a sister but think she is too focused on business, get married to another one. Then when h's younger sister jilts him to marry some tech billionaire, he has a one night stand with h and apologies to her on the morning after.
When the h is now pregnant and her grandmother tells him about it, he goes to woo his love without letting her know that he knows about her pregnancy.
Can't believe this book was in the romance genre in the library. I didn't quite finish the book and skipped to the ending, it didn't get any better.

This is Jessie's story. Jessie is the middle sister, the responsible one who is good in business. She has loved Matt for years and so has Matt, but Matt thought she was a career woman so he and Maddie decided to get married(he realized his mistake soon enough). So, 2 months have passed since Maddie married Joe instead of Matt and Jess is gone and we later find out why. She's pregnant with Matt's baby. Matt goes to chase her and woo her and well he puts his foot in the mouth so many times. We get to see the little baby talking as well. The book was funny, these two people were nuts about each other and didn't know how the other felt. In the same vein as the other book. Crazy, quirky, funny.
