Interesting book about one of those almost mythological figures that has almost been forgotten by cricket history. Known as one of the fastest bowlers, certainly of his time, Charles Kortright bafflingly never played for England, despite his pace. This book pieces together the little we know of him, his family and his life after cricket. At times a bit patchy, you feel that the author has made every effort to research the topic and put together a short, but interesting book.
