Struck by Luck

My name is Jack Drayton and I am a gambler. Sounds like the beginning of an AA meeting. But I was not just your ordinary gambler. I am that guy that would be in a crowd and someone would say, “You want to bet on that?” and I would be right there with cash in hand ready to place the bet. Any spread, game, match or race, I wanted to be part of the action. It might have been due to the fact I was kind of ordinary. I was just average at sports. Was not very lucky at anything either. I was the person you would say if he did not have bad luck, he would not have any luck at all. I was that guy that just wanted to be someone, a winner of some type. Just be there at the right time, the right moment, to grab that glory. Until that one day came. Actually it stretched for quite a few days. My story goes through all my trials and troubles that I encountered even having all the good luck that came with my new found problem. Come along this journey with me together.
