Prescription for Anxiety

Rate this book
Leslie D. Weatherhead was an influential Christian theologian in the 20th Century, at one time leading the Methodist church. In this book, he defines anxiety as a primary negative influence on humans and human society, and delivers his spiritual, Christian recommendation for a solution to treating the symptoms, as well as avoiding it in the first place. Unlike the hardcopy version of this book, the paperback version is subtitled "How You Can Overcome Fear and Despair".

Brutally honest but ultimately enlightening little book.
The author ranges across a spectrum form genuine understanding to the same old 'if you really believed you wouldn't be like this' with some useful insight and advice along the way.

This book is really sentimental for my family. It is religious, but even if you aren't religious, which I'm not really, the advice is still so helpful. It's also just written so thoughtfully. I highly recommend!
