I give this book five stars because of all the texts I've read on the subject, Dr. Pozar's does the best job delivering practical design approaches for actual antenna solutions. It is well laid out in terms of building a theoretical background and evolving to how one goes about using this information in a practical sense, meaning how does one execute the transformation between theoretical physics and real world, mechanical design? It doesn't cover the entire scope of antenna design by any means, though no single book could, but the content provided is easily translated into a host of possible antenna geometries. Another must have in the antenna designer's library.
