This was not my favorite of Kelly Yang's work. I loved "Front Desk" and its sequel, but this one was a little different. It was really quick, so I kept reading it, and it was not that I didn't like it. I thought it was OK, but it was a little boring. But, I think she did write it younger, and it was pretty good for that. I was not expecting that twist at the end! I had no idea that the girl was actually a spirit, even though she was acting pretty weird. I do not think that I liked this book enough to go on the the sequels if there is one.
