I received an ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

Fire is the first book in the series and leaves off with a strong basis for following books. I would not consider it a cliff hanger, but it does leave at a critical point that will leave you begging for more.

I really enjoyed this tale. She is mortal. Her "looney" mom told her strange bedtime stories of Dragons before she was mysteriously murdered, leaving her to basically live on the streets. He is the leader of a dragon pack. Together they are forced to face many life threatening situations and are on a mission to change the future all while fighting the enemy.

There is a lot of drama and suspense in this book. Very fast paced and covers the span of almost a year. The characters are very interesting with neat personalities. I would really love to see a little more insight into their feelings and history, but over all this is a great introduction into who they are and what the future may hold for them.

I see ALOT of potential in this series and I can't wait to see where the author is going with it.

I was given a free copy for an honest review.
Dragon are real, and they are our protectors, or so Jade has been told by her mother. For years she believes this even when people think she is nuts.
Then she meets Alex ( the leader of the Drac clan) and it starts the pull of the Dragon's mate bond. Not trusting her heart to be right Jade has doubts that true love this quickly can be real. Alex has never wanted mate and is quick to f'up. Will jade and Alex find a balance, and a future together?

Alex sure can make some interesting promises, “I promise to be the baddest mother effer they have ever seen and to come back to you. Will that work?” I liked Alex, I mean the man could be harsh at times, but I'm pretty sure that was just his pride talking.

I love paranormal books that deal with mates. This story was very different from the ones I am used to. This is the story of alex and jade. Alex believes he will never have a mate. He runs into jade and saves her life. Little did he know he ws saving his mates life. They are both prideful and stubborn, which cause misunderstandings. This story has action, suspense and a great love story.

Jade Teal grew up listening to stories from her mother about dragons. She never thought that they were anything but a fairy tale. As an adult, she finds herself in a spot of danger, which brought a real life dragon to save her. Even stranger, she feels a very powerful connection to the dragon shifter. Alex Sparks is the leader of the Drac Dragon Clan, who goes out on a mission to save Jade. After he rescues her, he feels a super strong pull to the human female, which disturbs him as he has sworn that he won't ever have a mate. But the pull is too strong for them to deny, and neither of their lives will ever be the same.

For whatever reason, I've never been a big fan of any kind of shifter books. WIth that being said, I was happily surprised at how much I LOVED Fire! It started out with a big bang, and kept going strong which made it hard to catch my breath. The character development is great, with an amazing cast of secondaries. Alex and Jade's simmering chemistry quickly boiled over, leading to dragon flames of sexy scene goodness. Tiffany Flowers talented writing style hooked me (the one who doesn't read about shifters) from the get go, and even more amazing, she kept me in one position until I finished the very last page. Her twists and turns came from every direction, which made for some great OMG moments that had me yelling loudly. My one issue was the ending seemed a tad too rushed, as I really needed a big todo after my heart raced throughout the whole story! Nonetheless, I CANNOT WAIT to read more of this series, so I'm HIGHLY RECOMMENDING Fire to everyone!

Now that was a hell of a hot read. I love paranormal
romance and this one was hot. I loved how the book just
flowed it as a fast read for me ,but I just could not put it
down. I read it straight through. So when I looked up it was
5am in the morning. Good thing I did not have a job to go off
to, as I had no sleep I was so wrapped up in the book. This
is the first book in the series for this book. And what a hot
start to a series this was.

This is Alex and Jades story there has not been any mate for
a long time. When Layla has a vision of jade, she contacts
the others to send help to rescue her. Hopefully before
anything horrible happens to her. When Alex reaches her he
finds he surrounded by slayers, but as Jade screams the all
turned to ash. Alex is not sure how it happened just knows
she is his. I felt so bad for Jade and how she was forced to
live after her mother was killed. As she told Alex about
herself it brought tears to my eyes. But hearing her story
helps explain why Jade is the way she is. Thinking she will
be safe in the village Alex he leaves to take care of things.
But this is just the start of all the problems they only get
worse when the other pack of dragons show up and along
with it a crazy female dragon. When you find out who is
behind all this it may not shock you but what Jade dose to
punish them is priceless.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too.

Jade is all sorts of sass and when she wants to do something nobody is going to change her mind. Going into an abandoned burned-out building was supposed to be fun but what she wasn't expecting was to be jumped by a group of strange men only to be saved by another and then to feel such a strong pull to him.

Alex should have been the last one to find his mate, it was just something he didn't think he wanted until he sees Jade and all those thoughts flee from his mind.

These two are both hard headed but all they really want is to be happy and together.

This story takes you into a world of dragons and slayers. Unfortunately it kind of missed the mark on explaining that world very well and that made it a little more difficult to get into. This was all very fast paced and sometimes I wish there would have been more of the small details that help you to get to know the characters as well as their backgrounds.

Alex and Jades story is not all happiness and roses but that made it all the more interesting and I did enjoy it for what was there even though yes I do wish there would have been more to it.

My Rating: 4

The start of a series, and a great stepping stone for what is going to be a fun and suspenseful series to read. Dragons are our protectors. At least that is what Jade's mother told her at bedtime for years before she wound up mysteriously murdered. All this leaving Jade on the streets trying to fend for herself. She's super insecure and doesn't have any self-confidence so when this boy shows up and saves her... she is confused as to why he likes her so much.

Alex is a Dragon pack leader and is quite the bad boy who screws up life pretty often. When he meets Jade, things seem to alter a little in his way of thinking and the two start to learn how to face difficulties as one unit... I'm interested to see how their future unfolds. This story is not for everyone and I would have enjoyed a little more character developed and a slower pace, but that's just a personal preference.

I received a copy in return for an honest review. What happens when the stories you were told about Dragons as a child, weren't stories but in fact real... In Fire we meet Jade who as a child was told stories of Dragons, life hasn't been so nice to her and in a twist she finds out those stories aren't just stories. Then we have Alex, leader, dragon and protector but if he has his way never a mate, well that is until he meets Jade. Things get a bit interesting after that. Tiffany has given us a well written story, her characters are developed and overall a great read, in fact I look forward to seeing more of her dragons and their mates in the future. As this is the first book of Tiffany's that I have read I wasn't sure on what to expect all I knew was that the synopsis intrigued me. So when the opportunity came to read it, I took it and am so glad that I did as now I have a new author to add to my TBR list.

I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest review.
I am a big fan of paranormal romance, and love shifter novels. So thinking about a dragon shifter wasn't a far fetch. Jade Teal is a young women who is all alone in the world, but remembers the stories about Dragons her mother used to tell her as a young child. While she remembers the stories, the truth that dragons are real is hard to believe. Unless your Alex Sparks, he leaders of the Drac Dragon Clan. He never thought he would one day find and rescue his mate, but that's exactly what he's tasked to do. Jade is put into a position where she is attacked and Alex rescues her. These two are not good at relationships but the pull of being mates can be very confusing. These two are so cute and sweet and I enjoyed this story so much!
It was a great read, with suspense, romance and chemistry between the characters.
Definitely a 4 Star Book!

Excellent paranormal romance with lots of action.!! Alex is the leader of the Dragons, Jade believes she is a human, worth nothing to anyone and that Dragons are a myth her mother believed in before she was murdered. Tiffany Flower's takes an excellent paranormal romance story, imbues it with the heart of a woman who has never learned to trust, twists it up with a Dragon woman bent on stealing her mate and her life and gives you an awesome story of love conquering even the most vile of torture known to man. I can't say enough about how much I loved this book !! I didn't put it down from the minute I started it, until the very last page. 5☆'s !! If you like your romance with paranormal creatures and hard work to get to Happily Ever After, this is the book for you !! I recieved a gifted copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

An enjoyable read from start to finish , Dragons have withdrawn from humans to protect them from becoming innocent victims of the slayers , the men & women who live to destroy Dragons.
All Dragons want to meet their mate , the on being solely created for them by the universe but so far only Hunter has found his , when Hunters mate Layla has a vision of a woman , one of their future mates ,captured & been beaten by men Alex the Drac leader goes to rescue her not realising she is the mate destined for him . Jade , the woman Alex saves hasn't had an easy life , it's been full of loss & hardship & it's hard for her to trust when Alex explains about the mating bond . A series of misunderstandings & deviousness sees Jade torn apart with doubts which could lead to her & Alex never being together . A good story of hope .love , loss & betrayal , looking forward to more from Tiffany Flowers

Crystal's 3.5 Star Review
I received a copy for an honest review. Fire is the story of Alex and Jade. Alex is the head of his dragon clan and Jade is his mate. They meet because Jade has gone into the Slayers (men who kill dragons and their mates) old headquarters with her boyfriend and is in trouble. He saves her and tells her about himself. She has heard the stories from her mother, who was killed when Jade was young, but never really believed them. She heads back to his home and meets the rest of the clan. Things do not settle down after, there is action throughout the entire story.

For me, the story seemed rushed. There were a couple of scenes that did not flow. I liked the characters and will probably check out the next book when it comes out. It does not end on a cliffhanger like some series, which I really appreciate.

Since the death of her mother, Jade has grown up in the streets. She has very little self confidence. Everyone leaves her, she doesn't even love herself, so how can anyone else. Her mother told her tales about Dragon shifters, but they are just stories.
Alex is the leader of his clan of dragons. He goes to rescue a potential dragon mate from the slayers. He has far too much to worry about without the feelings this prickly female causes. Why can't she believe what he says.
A short but exciting dragon shifter story that looks like it's part of a series. There are some very interesting characters here that must have their own stories. Beware the woman scorned !! Will enjoy reading them.

Leader Mate

***ARc provided in exchange for an honest review***

Interesting read from beginning to end. Have you ever wondered if some of the tales you have been told when you were little were real. In this case they were when it came to stories that Jade's mother use to tell her and she really didn't believe them until she is rescued by none other than Alex Sparks the leader of the Drac Dragon Clan. Alex knew he was going on a rescue mission he just didn't know that the woman he was rescuing was his mate. Throughout this tale you left wondering will they find a balance with Jade never really believing that she's lovable and Alex not knowing how to be a mate. I for one love the concept and storyline of this author's work and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

While I think the book has an interesting plot idea I was left with several unanswered questions. Jade said several times she felt she was unlovable, but I never understood why. I never felt a connection with the characters because I never felt like I got the chance to know them.
