Great insight into the man of whom I knew mainly due to his brave work on the school busing issue. Yet he was so much more than that case. I finally understand the mind boggling Dalton Shield case. The judge was complicated, smart, impatient and effective. A must read for those interested in modern VA history. Well sourced book with lots of insight from imminent lawyers.
