Honestly this book is away much better then the material I had when I joined Basic Journalism Training a decade back.

Although written in comical font and the illustration reminds me to children books, however it encourages the idea that you can have fun whilst learning how to be a young journalist. Indeed it took such a long journey to be a good journalist, but the tips here can help one child to learn from the very beginning of what a journalist should do and don't.

***

I volunteer at my childrens' school, helping the Jr. High students with a student newspaper. After browsing around for a basic journalism book, I ran across this one at the library. The book says it is geared toward middle school students, and it was perfect for the Jr. High kids as well. It explains such basics such as who's on a newspaper staff?, what is newsworthy?, interviewing, reviews, columns, layout, etc. We have a very limited amount of time to meet and get our paper together, so it really gets to the point quickly, giving all the important basics. I found it really hard to find my own copies of this book, as it is out of print. I found several copies online and bought them all for my kids to share. It is a super resouce for any middle school or Jr. high newspaper staff - if you can find it!

a brain-friendly book.

tentang, runtutan menciptakan sebuah surat kabar.
pengumpulan info, analisa fakta, penulisan materi, editing, pengaturan tata letak, pemilihan program publishing, print & distribusi. dan elemen2nya seperti sdm & iklan. lengkap kayanya...

secara fisik, menarik sekali.
mungkin karena ditujukan bagi pembaca remaja.
font bersahabat & margin selesa,
warna2 font bermakna,
gambarnya ilustratif,
charting..mapping... wuih.. tony buzan lewat deh..
