Excellent explanation as to how the opposing ideologies of economic liberalism and strategic realism come together to form an all consuming globilization, which in turn threatens sovereign identity in favour of a kind of laissez faire capitalism. Hoovestal suggests that this clash of ideologies primarily between America and China will go on to form a second cold war; one in which America's hegemony and economic power will be under a legitimate threat.
