Our first experience with Chambers was at a seminar where he was teaching commercial techniques for children. I sat riveted as this person on stage opened my eyes to the work necessary for children to succeed in the acting profession. His energy was infectious and his insight invaluable. By the end of the hour I knew that I had only heard a tiny portion of the wisdom he could offer.
That's when I hit the internet and looked for anything written by this genius in the child acting field.
I bought every book I could find. I read them myself. I read them again because I wanted to absorb every nugget. Then I read them with my kids. And then we practiced. And practiced.
My son booked a national ad campaign a few months ago and I credit his success to the knowledge gained from Chambers Stevens. If you are planning to let your child try their hand at acting all of Chambers' books are a must read.

This book contains excellent advice from someone who has been in the business and has knowledge and experience about what he is talking about. Chambers definitely will not steer you wrong and offers very valuable first-hand insight on a subject that is often difficult to become educated on.
I recommend this book as well as any of the other books that Chamber Stevens has written to assist young actors in honing their craft. My son Taylor Luke has been reading, memorizing and performing monologues from these books for 4 1/2 years. He continues to revisit the books as needed for audition prep as well as practice. Taylor has received many roles in independent Texas films over the last 3 years and I truly believe the books have helped my son grow in his profession.
Chambers knows youth and knows the business. His books are probably one of the best tools any young aspiring actor/actress can get. I highly recommend them all! I have had the pleasure of meeting him when he worked with my daughter, and I must say he is amazing at what he does. Why get tools/books written by anyone but the best, and Chambers is the best.
