Spends a lot of time refuting an obviously bad position: the position that Plato devalued art. Plato's dialogues are art. Makes some brief, slightly interesting connections between the Greater Hippias, Ion, Phaedrus and Symposium. Not sure at all about the Mysticism drawn out of the Symposium. Odd that he ignores the passages in the Republic that lead many to the above obviously bad view. Book VII certainly gives a different and non-mystical story about how the Forms might be known.
