I read this book after reading the previous book by the same author.
I must say, the research is pretty thorough.
The names, the customs, the locations, all are local and relevant to Telugu people, and as a Telugu mother tongue, I should say the author has done thorough research, and this is what makes the books special.

I just loved reading the book and analyzing all the stories in it.

It wasn't easy thought. The story about the kalika devi and origins of Tenali are pretty interesting. The conclusion of the book was with a shimmer rather than a bang. The ending of the gopal bhand books was pretty grand thought, with a big ashtavadhan kind of setup with both foreigners and local experts. But Tenali does not get a happy or grand ending.

The trajectories of the both of the books show the quick rise and later bloom of both the characters.
They run in prarallel lines of intellect using lateral thinking to solve some pretty tought problems in an interesting way.

Fun and intellectually helpful.

All the stories are well constructed and neatly presented though with few grammatical errors. On the whole, it is always fun to read Thenali.

Easy read...some short stories are quite relatable in the current context.
