E.R. nurse Caitlyn OToole has seen just about everything in her time, but shes never had a bleeding patient under her car before. When the gunshot victim turns out to be her brothers partner, can she keep him alive long enough to stop the city from going up in flames? Devlin Mac McDougal has been working undercover trying to bust an illegal weapons ring for months. He was inches away from success when all hell broke loose. Can he trust Caitlyn to save his life when he no longer trusts her brother? As the city gets closer and closer to conflagration, Caitlyn and Mac throw off plenty of sparks of their own. Arianna Hart enjoys spending time with her family, reading anything she can get her hands on, and of course writing! She’d love to spend her days on a beach with a drink in one hand and a book in the other, but until she wins the lottery she’ll just have to settle for chasing her girls around the pool.

Arianna Hart is becoming one of my auto buys. She has a way of balancing the suspense and romance with a emphasis on the romance that appeals to me. The heroine is a nurse and the sister of our hero's partner in the FBI. Our hero is undercover and his cover apparently gets blown and is shot in the back and somehow manages to get to the hospital to hide under the heroine's vehicle.
