The title of my book was World Atlas . The author was Esther Labi . My book was about world geography and how the world changes throughout the years . My book was also about how much water the world has and how it affects the world . The main themes of my book was how it changes and evolves as years pass . Something I didn't like about the book was when it would talk about one topic and it would make it a little boring . Some parts of the book were boring and some were very interesting. Some part that stood out to me about my book is all the readings it said on why the world changes . I feel this way about my books because some parts of the book did not make a lot of sense . This is why I think this would make the book confusing to read. If you were looking for a book that taught you about world geography and would interest you , this book is a good recommendation for you because it teaches you a lot about it . I would rather not recommend this book to a new reader because I found the book pretty boring and I got to a point where I didn't not want to finish it . I would give it 2 out of 5 stars because it's not very interesting where it makes you want to keep reading .

This is really quite out of date now - it still has countries like Zaire, and is missing many of the most recent countries - but after enjoying my read of an ancient New Zealand travel guide and appreciating it as a historical document, I thought I'd flick back through this too!

The World is a big place, so you're not going to be able to fit much into a pocket guide like this. I like that there's a little bit on the history of each area, but the sections on population and economy are obviously outdated the second it is published. I usually think of an atlas in terms of the maps, and this does what it can, outlining the major terrain features and cities. It's too small for much else though, and what it does include is too old now.
