About the author

Brett Stiles

2 books
Brett Stiles is an American author living in Des Moines, Iowa with his wife, Sara, and their daughter, Ellie. He currently works for Principal Financial Group, but has been a jack of many trades throughout his life, from refining his skills as a magician to working in the video game industry for EA Studios.

Brett’s first self-publication was Coffee Bean Therapy, a fictional piece that takes a look at the public stigma surrounding mental health. He wrote it as a cathartic exercise to deal with his own anxiety, and through that process learned he enjoyed the art of storytelling.

Having just recently joined the world of writing, Brett is now vigorously creating new material in an effort to build his portfolio. In addition to Coffee Bean Therapy, Brett has also written two short story manuscripts that are awaiting publication.

As of today, Brett is trying to push his writing horizons even further by going in a different direction with his new novel: a post-apocalyptic book that is slated to arrive in spring of 2017.
