Ok I will admit right from the start - I am biased - I first found Chris Foss the same time i found science fiction a fact that means when ever I see any of his work I immediately think back to the heady days of finding battered old copies of Asimov and James Blish parading the fantastical (and utterly impossible) creations of his mind. Many if not all of them had no connection what ever the book was about but still they were amazing pieces> it even got to the point where I would search the covers for the all illusive capital F which he always signed his work with. This is his work at its best if you like his work this can get no better.
