This book can be considered a non-fiction book because it is all about forensic scientist's and what they do for a job. It talks about the methods they do in order to be successful. This book also talks about the different types of forensics that occur. The book talks about bodies, dogs sniffing, bugs, and so much more. DNA is also talked about and how it plays a role in their job. This book also has a glossary at the end which provides many different important words throughout the book and is helpful for students to use when doing assignments.
I gave this book four stars because it has a lot of great information to help students learn about the topic. I also gave this book four stars because it has many different examples of real-life topics and issues. This book will allow readers to learn about the topic while also being able to potentially connect with the topics and relate them to real-life situations.

It was a quick YA-level interesting book that gave basics for YA however, if you'd like more or are a teen/adult, I suggest other options, If you just want a starting point this is fine. 4. stars.
