Hi everyone, I am from a small town in Northern Ireland. I grew up on a farm which I loved as a child. Another love I had growing up was reading. I could and still can read a full book in a day! Writing books, telling the stories of the characters in my head take a little longer...

My first book series is called 'Blood and Flames'.

The First book from the series is 'Fire and Fangs'. It is a PNR/UF genre and is followed by Imperfect Harmony and Insidious Deceit.

You can keep up to date with the series by liking my FB page - https://www.facebook.com/bloodandflames

This is the third book in the Blood and Flames series and it was a flood of unexpected events. I was shocked, delighted and outraged by how unpredictable things were.

5 Things About Insidious Deceit That Surprised Me :

1 Apha Male POVs
I wished for a male pov and my wish was granted. We see things from the point of view of Damon & Lucas : their views on the women in their lives, their species, their struggles and their motivations.

2 Be careful what you wish for
In any entertaining story, you see the protagonist get a twisted version of whatever he wished for. We get to see the same thing happen here...

Danni has disappeared, Lucas never stops looking for her but he finds no clues.
When Daani returns, she has a fiancė by her side.
Do they still have a chance?

Damon wants the world to know that Keri belongs to him. What happens when their Mating Ceremony demands all of Keri's time?
This leads to desperate planning for quality time and an unexpected guest in the house.

Danni wants to learn about her roots but can her mother be the family she needs?

Keri has grown into a strong Nest Mistress but is she attracting attention from the wrong people?

3 Character Growth
This has been a constant in every book and I appreciate it. The protagonists dont turn into superheroes overnight. With every victory, their enemies grow more formidable, they are confronted by inner demons and their problems force them to emerge as stronger people.

4 Whats New
The loss of a loved one which affects the lives of all the major players and we meet Danni's mother. We also hear different versions of sup myths and stories.
Damon and Lucas bond over the shared pain of being separated from their mates and Damon roots for Lucas when Danni is back.

5 Elements Sundae
These books always have so much going on, not just the action, mystery and plotting. It explores a lot of common emotions like family, the need for commitment, denial, betrayal, affection and anger.
All this is included without slowing the pace in any way.

This series gets bigger & better with each book and book 3 has set up a great foundation for book 4.
I think its going to be explosive and am miserable that book 4 has not released yet. Must have a cheesecake party for one :)

OMG, you get more than you bargain for with this one! I loved it!! I can't believe what all happens (and WHO is involved) with the deceit and twists in this 'episode' of our fangtastic fun. Keri's mating ceremony is coming up, but that almost gets pushed to the back burner with so many other things going on. Danni has been away, but we find out all about that, so it adds to the drama. Don't forget Lucas, the yummy King of Shifters. She walked away from him, so is it over? I absolutely love him, so I was on my seat for this plot line. His Great Deadness is not dull and subdued in any bit with all of this surrounding his Princess. Oh, and yeah, they have a nest to run! Grab this and hold on tight - you won't be disappointed.

This book follows Keri, Danni, Damon and Lucas's story on from book 2. After book 2 Danni disappeared and left Lucas frantic with worry. This book follows in a year after she had disappeared. It turns out that Danni went looking for her mum who she found but not only did she come back with her mum in tow but also a fiancée, Lucas was not pleased in the least and he still wants Danni as his mate. Keri has settled into her life as mistress of the nest master and his planning her mating ceremony. Even Jack Lucas's lol werecub as found love in this book. Danni is happy that she has her mum but does her mum have something more sinister planned?
Well I've loved both books 1 & 2 and this book no. 3 did not disappoint! I didn't think the story would be able to get any more exciting than it already had but the author as done it again. I couldn't put the book down once I had started, There was just so much action going on in this book it keeps you reading on wanting to know what's gonna happen next. It seems that these books just keep getting better and This is definitely my favourite so far. There is a bit of a cliff hanger at the end so I am now eager for book 4 to come out. The author is a very talented writer with a great imagination!

*A complimentary ecopy was given by the Author in exchange for my honest review.*

I'd like to start off by thanking the author for allowing me to read and continue this awesome series. Also, I want to point out that this author has the ability to keep you wanting more, the story line keeps improving with each book, and these characters just keep growing as the series progresses. I read the Synopsis, thinking I had an inkling of what would happen. No, it was even better!! And if this series lasts another three or even twelve more books, I'll definitely wait for them!! I've found an Adult Urban Fantasy world that I love so much because of the characters, the Heat(From Danni, hehe, it's different, and I'd like more on the Phoenixes, like mythology), the different type of Paranormals & how they fit in with the human world, and the romance. Insidious Deceit was a bit tough or very somber. We lost someone dear to the girls, Danni & Keri, and it was all about finding the murderer, and along the way, love, and betrayal. My Lucas, My, King of the Shifters, he's MINE!! & Danni's, ha. What would this series be without that Man?! Keri & Damon, they're always a treat. You can really see how Keri's embraced her responsibilities as Head Mistress. You see the struggle. Danni's Mother...well, uh...an awesome portrayal of sinister Bee-otch. Like I said, I thought I had an inkling, and still not when it came to her. I'm keeping my mouth shut on everything else. I loved this book, I hope it continues being one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series, ever.

***I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.***

I LOVE THIS SERIES! Book 3 - Insidious Deceit was one of my favorites...mostly because of Danni & Lucas......YAAASSSS! That's all I have to say about them. It was fabulous, I kept hoping to read more about either of them. I LOVED Danni in this book, she's still one of my favorite characters.

I loved the part that Pascal played, it was funny and very reminiscent of Jenks, my fave pixie of all time, from Kim Harrison's The Hollows Series. Jack was SOOO funny in this book for numerous reasons, poor Lucas! *wink wink* :)

I guessed where the deceit would occur but I was shocked with one character!!!! UGH I hated all of them....I'm glad more bad things didn't happen, although I'm really shocked that Josephine McNabb killed off a big character!

I'm a big fan, I loved it and have loved it and I'm ready to read more by this author.

5 fan stars!

First, my disclaimer: I received a free copy in exchange for my review.
Now the review:
I loved this book! There was so much action, and heartbreak. The characters became more real, and easy to relate to. I loved learning more about Danni especially, because she remains such a complicated mess.
While there was tons of action, there were also a lot of sweet, heartfelt moments. We really got to spend time understanding who the characters were, and their relationships.
I also loved being able to see what was going on with inside of the guys. It was nice to get Lucas' and Damon's points of view.
The book ended on quite a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to find out what happens next. I am totally hooked. :)
