As a classroom teacher I didn’t find this as illuminating as I hoped. The misconceptions about EL was very basic and the reading strategies described were very vague. I think the checklists in conjunction with descriptions of MTSS (which we are incorporating next year) were very useful. I perhaps was not the intended audience.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is full of very useful information. It has helped me very much with my bilingual students who have learning disabilities. I commend the authors for doing such a good job.
