Está primera parte me tiene muy atrapada. La temática es muy buena, y la tensión entre los protagonistas me esta matando hasta a mi.

Está claro que no voy a seguir con la saga.

Ha sido desquiciante, más que nada por la protagonista.
Creo que esto puede tener spoilers así que leed con cuidado.
Nessa es una mujer que acaba en protección de testigos por ayudar al FBI a coger a su marido, Stan Ivanov, que lavaba dinero de la mafia a través del negocio de floristería que tenía Nessa.
En cuanto ella entra en protección de testigos no deje de pensar si es que era así de repelente de siempre o se hizo más ahora. Es decir, ¿que persona, con un poco de sentido común, se pone quisquillosa con la identidad que te dan? "Tenéis que cambiarme el nombre porque este no me pega nada" ¿¡en serio Tía!? Te preocupa más el nombre que te dan que tu propia seguridad? Apaga y vamonos.
Pero no solo se queja de su identidad, también del trabajo que le dan. Realmente esta chica es una ricachona repelente por mucho que ella diga que no. Al parecer debe ser demasiado buena para trabajar en un puto supermercado sabes? Porque ojo, es de Nueva Jersey y vamos eres la próxima París Hilton no me jodas...
Espera que hay más. Claro obviamente la Tía es pelirroja y nada destaca más que ese pelo. Entiendo, que que te toquen el pelo es un dolor impresionante, pero hija tienes que teñírtelo porque destacas como un cartel de neón. PUES NO, no le sale del potorro porque le encanta su pelo. Que más da si tu ex marido te encuentra EL CASO ES QUE MUERAS CON EL PELO ESTUPENDO.
Idiota.

En fin, para mí ha sido un libro para sacarme la mala leche. No ha sido para mí... vaya rachita que llevo.

Kai is a Marshal in the witness protection programme, who has just got back on duty after being on medical leave. Nessa is in witness protection after giving evidence against her douchebag husband. Having to relocate and start afresh is not going to be easy for her, but at least she has Kai to torment :). Part 1 is Nessa having to settle in and adapt to her new life, which is totally different from her own. It's hard for her being alone like that now and you can't help but feel for her. She does seem to like making things difficult though with her fiery character. Kai is in big trouble haha he loves red heads and yes Nessa is a red head. She is also making things difficult for him both job wise and the fact he wants into her pants. I don't envy him right now she is driving him nuts! The sexual tension between these two is fun to read. You also get to read from Stan pov, the criminal ex husband and boy is he pissed. This was a good start up of what's going to be happening and can't wait to read part 2. Will they? Won't they?

I loved the sassy Nessa along with the stoic Kai's personality mix. Nessa was such a powerful character and that really stuck with me. She was curvy but with confidence and spoke her mind, possibly to a fault but so much fun. It's great to read a story with a curvy girl that still has confidence and sex appeal. I enjoyed the banter between Kai and Nessa and felt the characters were easy to relate to. I got hit regularly with bouts of laughter with the inner dialogue of Nessa & Kai. The story was a smooth read and very enjoyable. The plot held some twists and kept you wondering what was coming next.I wasn't able to start the next part quick enough. I would give it a solid 4 stars and a recommendation to everyone.

After testifying against her husband Stanislov who embezzled money from the Russian mafia, Nessa finds herself in witsec. Kai is a US Marshal who has just been cleared for duty after being shot in the knee. Of course his first case back while everyone is evaluating his performance would be a fiery redhead from New Jersey. Which just happens to be the type of girl that drives him mad with lust..or could it be love.

We have Kai who is a US Marshal and Nessa who is in witness protection. Nessa has to get a new identity and a new life and place to start over. But can she keep her mouth shut and stay out of trouble long enough for Kai to keep her safe?
