Unexplained, Part 1: Dreams - The Link Theory

Rate this book
This is the Part 1 of the series of books titled "Unexplained".
With so much knowledge around, so many theories around, so many subjects like science, philosophy, psychology, religion, history and subjects of these subjects … everyone has his or her own theories … preferred beliefs … some proven (called science) … some not (called emotions and imaginations or philosophy) … some explained and some UNEXPLAINED!
Since my childhood days, I have seen that for each ONE phenomenon, there are numerous theories and views, some complimenting each other … some contradicting … some totally different … and every view has its own explanation and justification. I always wondered why can’t there be ONE common logical explanation for each thing that happens in this world. And I started to think …
It was 1991, when I passed out of school, I first started writing … all the thoughts in my diary. The concept of having ONE common logical explanation came into my mind and what topic could have been better than certain phenomenon which are UNEXPLAINED … what this means is, can some logical reasoning for the same satisfy all … scientists, philosophers, psychologists, religion and even the common man!
I don’t claim that I will be able to do that, but why not pen down my thoughts and try it! … at least it can give food for thought to the great people in the world … who are accomplished in their fields … who want to do something for the human race … who are doing something for the human race … hence the genesis of this series of books.
In Part 1, which is this book – “Dreams - The Link Theory”, I am trying to analyse what dreams are! … frequently pondered-over phenomenon since the beginning of human life … with due respect to the great researchers and theorists on dreams, I found most of them end into interpretation of dreams … some say emotions and hidden ambitions … some say effect of random imagery during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep … some psychological … some scientific … some neurological … and so on …
What I tried to do in this book is to write a very simple theory in a language of a layman who doesn’t have to be a psychologist or a neuroscientist. I have tried to give a logical explanation to what dreams are ... why we dream … what they mean … a logic which I presume might answer or satisfy all … or at least might press the thinking nerve in them …
Second Part of this series, “God, Life & Universe – The Lost Science”, will follow shortly with the same objective of defining and explaining the said phenomenon logically to link subjects like science, philosophy, psychology, religion, history and subjects of these subjects … a logical explanation to what these definitions are to a common man and again a food for thought for the thinkers …
Other parts that might follow would include the Paranormal, Astrology, Superstitions and so on…
