There are over 30 patterns using stars as the organizing theme in the book. Most of them are paper pieced. Some of the fabric / colorway choices obscure the pattern and left something to be desired but the instructions were good and you can make the quilt in your own fabrics. MANY different patterns were included using different embellishment techniques.

I have it in my library but I have reservations on whether I would recommend this book. You would have to find some patterns you would really love make.

I am discovering that is the drawback to buying via AMAZON... it is too hard to evaluate a book, so I rarely buy one unless I have seen it in the library or on a quilt shop hop.
