For beginner readers, I really enjoy Spring Has Sprung.

The first few pages talk about the weather. I appreciate that the book starts off depicting a spring snowstorm. Living in the Midwest, we often feel like we get a long winter, a week of spring, and then a long summer. I like that this reminds readers that just because the calendar says it's spring doesn't mean the weather will agree.

Then the book discusses animals and spring activities. I enjoy the photographs depicted here that show diverse people and various animals engaging in spring activities.

I think this book presents a good introduction of the concepts around spring for younger readers. I'm going to bring this one in to share with the kids.
