This is an important fictional retelling of the horror of Rosewood, Florida. Without stories like this, we cannot imagine the horrors our communities are capable of. We all need to read such books to remind ourselves the importance of treating everyone with dignity, avoid getting caught up in the mob at all costs - it never ends well. If you don't stand up sooner, the implications only get worse.

A very sad story about people who had to leave there own town because of prejudice.
