After a late night visit to Battington’s marketplace, Princess Mena vanishes without a trace. Xander's Tangled Web was a delightful fantasy read set in colorful world with unique, diverse characters.
Pace of Story: The story has a steady pace keeping the reader's interest peaked throughout the novel. Never a dull moment or lull in the story.
Characters: Royal's characters are delightful and thoroughly thought out. Xander, the protagonist, is a likeable, relatable guy - the kind you'd love to have a beer with. Reader's can very easily picture each character with ease without becoming bogged down in complicated details.
World-Building: The world Royal creates is vivid and believable. From vast forests and meandering rivers to colorful caravans and quaint villages, reader's can easily imagine walking in the footsteps of Xander throughout his journey.
Overall: This was a fun, relaxing read full of twists and turns. I highly recommend this to any fans of the fantasy genre.
