The connecting theme of this and "No more bet", apart from the gambling, is "family". And in a way that is both strength and weakness - the family ties depicted are different and interesting and convuluted, but the thing is, with both pairings (neither of which are incestous) I didn't feel the attraction. It just feels like they only sleep together because they happen to be in a BL novel.
Now, this one had lots of Toudou, who I ended up liking even more than expected. I'm not a big fan of gambling or casinos, so the setting did nothing for me. Overall it wasn't bad, but also not great by any means. The cover is beautiful though.
