[Same review for first 4 books because...yeah] I got these on Kindle Unlimited because why not, I love shifters and am always on the hunt for a good new series. This was just ok. There’s a clear formula and no real surprises. They all have tortured pasts, they all have BBW heroines and they all have the same rhythm. They also all go down like cotton candy - sweet tasting but melts quickly and forgotten just as quickly.

Good Story
This is a good story. There's romance and a bit of a mystery and also humor. Gramma and Nema are a riot.
Nick is a bear shifter yearning for a mate. He and his bear have their sight set on Zoe , the new nurse in town.
Zoe is the new nurse in town. To help out the hospital she enters into a charity auction. The attraction between Zoe and Nick is intense. Nick has found his mate and there's more to Zoe that meets the eye. Someone else also notices Zoe but for entirely darker reasons. Nick just found his mate and he will protect her with is life.

A fine PNR quick read
Nick has finally found his mate...and an awesome mate she is! Zoe is a nurse with a surprise, and she's a welcome addition to Shadow Point. The close-knit ties in this community are wonderful and so are the wacky residents!

It was a cute short fast read. Nick finds his mate! Zoe is a nurse and signed up for the auction to raise funds. She's a bit shy being on stage and is bought by Nick and he kisses her right there on stage. Once she does her mating urges and heat starts and she does flee. She does have shifter genes but never shifted or anything and it starts and she totally freaks. Nick finds her later and helps her with it after making hot love with her. I liked the story. :)

Fantastic
I really enjoyed reading this story. I loved Buck's character from the last story and was glad he got a story of his own. He and Zoe made a great couple. The auction was a fantastic idea. Some being a Griffin shifter was also great, as it was a little different from other stories. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

Awesome
A great novel from start to finish. I loved visiting Shadow point, where there are dragons, saber tooth tigers, bears, witches, fae fairies, and a Griffin. Thank you Natalie Kristen for another superb shifter novel.
