An illustrated history of the voyage of Columbus to the New World is complemented by an introduction by George Bush and brimming with facts about the expedition that changed the course of history.
I may be entirely biased seeing as I first read this book as a child. I loved the illustrations and descriptions of life at sea and the exploration of the New World. The author did say not all of Columbus' actions or things that happened were good, but the main focus of the book is the fact that at this period in history, the findings by Columbus were amazing and changed history. I may not agree with everything Columbus did, but I can't disagree with this.
