Hard going in parts, so much detail when it wasn't needed but well worth the read in the end. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I won this book in a giveaway by the author. When I started reading it, I was immediately hooked! The writing style is so gripping. It makes you interested in the story right away. The story has everything - Humor, Romance, Conflict - Just everything. I don't want to give anything away about the story, because I went into it knowing nothing and it was so nice to get to know the characters from fresh eyes, not knowing what to expect. There are lots of twists along the way. And the whole story keeps your interested throughout. I highly recommend this book. And I can't wait for the next one because I already know I am going to love it.

I won Unexpected Love in a giveaway and I am SO SO happy I did. Jessica Ashley had me glued to my Kindle way past my bedtime laughing and crying over Olli and Skye's whirlwind romance. Not only is the story addicting, but the characters in this book are phenomenal. I love the sarcasm and humor throughout. Olli's cockiness, Skye's sassy replies, and Fin's charming jokes had me falling in love with Skye, Julia, and the Hooligans. Like seriously, can I be friends with these people?

This is a new author for me but I will be looking for more of her books. I loved this book. It starts out with Sky’s life as a young girl after her mother passes away. She goes to the park to watch the cute guy who finally speaks to her. Then she‘s all grown up and going to London on vacation. Her dream of seeing London is finally coming true. Then she meets Ollie, who’s a member of the band “Hooligans”. And yes, the name fits the band to a T. They are all funny and hot. I love the way they Sky and Ollie get together and the feelings they have for each other is really good. They have their ups and downs just like you would expect with an up and coming new band. It’s a well written story with just the right amount of wild and wicked sex. It’s got several unexpected twists and the vicious ex-girlfriends shows up. Darn her! I highly recommend reading this book because I know that you will like it. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Before I read it I had already joined the authors group and follow her on twitter and it was so cool to know how much of herself is implemented in this story !! Jessica Ashely holds a very special place in my heart! She is genuine and loves her readers!! I can not wait for all her future novels!! 💜💜 you will not be disappointed !! I had no expectations for this story, but it blew me away. It was raw, sexy and beautiful. Jessica crafted a wonderful cast of characters that you just adore immediately. Unexpected Love was a wonderful story of Sky, a broken but beautiful girl in search of something more. She packs her life up with every intention of starting over in London, what she finds in London was more than she ever imagined. Sky's world collided with sexy rocker Olli and his incredible group of friends. She learns more about herself in that month that ever before. The writing it's witty, sexy and smart. This book was a wonderful surprise. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the rest of the Hooligans!

I bought this book a bit ago because the main inspiration for one of the characters is one of my favorite musicians. I stopped and started this book, about 4 times. I just couldn't get into it. Finally, I sat down and started reading. Man am I glad I did! Sky needs a change, so off she goes to London to see if it's right for her. It was the perfect fit! She meets "band boy" Oli and sparks certainly fly. From oh so sweet moments to WHAT ARE YOU DOING! moments, this is a sweet book start to finish. At times it reads like a YA novel, but ohhh man is it NOT. Follow their adventure, and fall in love with not only Oli and Sky but the Hooligans as well.

I really enjoyed this book and I fell in love with all of the characters. However I felt the end was rushed compared to the rest of the book. I am left questioning what happened with a few scenarios in the book as I feel that they were just skipped over.

Amazing. Totally amazing

Rockers are my favorite. British being second. Haha I loved loved this book. It had all sorts of good emotions. A tiny sad and wrapped up perfectly. I vCard ant wait to read the next story!!

Overall I enjoyed this book and the writing style (minus the suuuper long chapters). However, I did find myself slightly annoyed with Skye various times throughout the book. I enjoyed most of the characters (I love smartass/sarcastic leads) and the story. I think it was a great start for this new author and look forward to her next work. I think Nicole will be a much more relatable character for me than Skye was.

Fate works in a crazy way

I have to be honest I was a bit nervous for this authors first book. When she asked me to read it, because I am very blunt and honest in my reviews. I'm so glad she put herself out there, and asked me. This book was truly outstanding! It's a huge test in how fate works, the challenges both Olli and sky had to face were not easy at all. I'm true believer that most things happen for reason not everything but most! Olli and sky's story will take for crazy ride! You will laugh, cry, get mad and will definitely want to swear lol. It's worth is 5 star work!

I honestly was lucky enough to buy this book personally from the author.
From the first page I was curious for more, about the characters, what happens to them in their lives in between. This book is a real page turned, I had a lot of trouble putting it down, or getting sleep until I finished. one of favourite romance books, and I can't wait for another!
The plot tugs at all of your emotions, as you connect with each of the characters. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who likes a story with drive.

When a book brings out emotions, it must be a good book! And this really was!..
It was a bit of a slow burner (for me anyway) but I powered through, and I'm glad I did.
I felt anger and sadness all at once, but to say why would mean giving away spoilers! And I hate spoilers!! So you'll have to read it to find out why ☺️
My only issue is (this is just to me though) there was a certain word that was used a lot, but I just ignored the last letter and it was fine!
So read this!! Definitely read this!! You won't regret it!!
