Can the two exist in the same space? Or will one take precedence over the other?
I loved this book. It was tragic though. Especially that damn Tootie. I didn’t like that the book begins with book 2 and then ends with book 1. I didn’t read it like that it made no sense to me so I skipped through until I found part 1 read that and then went back and read part 2 which was at the start of the book. Also, I NEED to know what happens to Lani and Lyra.
Read 6 times…
P.S - For those who need to know the rest of what happened with Lani and Lyra, you can find that story in Promiscuous Girl: Keyasia and Wale, and most likely in Promiscuous Girl: Craven and Jazel too 😉
If you’re wondering whether or not you should read… THE ANSWER IS YES‼️‼️

Loved this book from beginning to end just like any other Nicole Jackson book. She's one of my favorite authors. I love Taz and Taraj. I almost shed a couple tears at the end. I I like all the interactions from the other couples in the book. I always forget that Taraj is so young. I enjoyed the little previews of Little Jahrien and Josirah.
Now I would’ve definitely rated this 5 stars HOWEVER.. Upon downloading part 1&2 together. I found that AFTER reading through what I thought was part 1, at the end it goes into part 1 instead of the series being in order like seriously WTF. I didn’t even read the rest!
This is a story of two people falling in love under extreme circumstances. Taraj faced so much at such a young age all because of the woman who birthed her. She gets involved with a older man who takes her through it. He here himself tied up in some trouble that causes some big name men to come after him. Luckily for Fatah she is spared because of an old friend who tells Taz to look after her and not to kill her. After moving in with him and becoming close one thing leads to another and they fall in love but the road is far from easy.
This one has been on my list for a while. I liked seeing characters from previous readss. I feel at some point so information was drawn out but it did come together. The book started off very cringe and took me a minute to get through the first chapter or so. I do like the Ms Jackson and the stories are always entertaining. The story lines are all kind if the same, young me horrible past, girl finds her savior, found family so and so forth. I like that the main FMC overcame her situation but i would of like her independence just a little sooner.
Too Much. You couldn’t help but feel for Tarej. It almost felt like she couldn’t catch a break. Every time you blinked it was something. Then she met Taz and it seemed things begin to turn around. But things got even crazier. She was a live wire. He was live wire. The two of them together was like a powder keg smh. I loved every minute of it.
Because why would the author end this book on a cliffhanger like that!!!! Lani already know what type of time Taz is gonna be on, so baby girl is trying to get outta dodge asap. I don’t know why these characters in these books try to go back & pack up their belongings, knowing they’re on borrowed time. Crazy work!
Part 1 at the end was so confusing. Please just start with part 1 so that you don't have to figure out where to begin. Stay away from the same name characters. Overall, this was a fast paced, but meaty story. You gave enough time to get into the characters.
You actually made me stop reading for the night I was hurting for Taz wHen he thought he lost her. Why is the book out of order ? It almost ruined it for me. It was so good and a straight page turner.
I started this book not knowing what to expect but I enjoyed it. In the beginning, it tugged at my heart and made me sad. Through this journey, I experienced every emotion but all in all, this was definitely a great story.
These ladies are on one. Goodness, I never had my nerves rattled like this before. Lani is a snakes hiding in the weeds. I need her dealt with quick. Let me move on to the next.
This book was everything I expected it to be. When I purchase a book written by Nicole Jackson I know I'm going to get a good dose of love, lust, sex, and drama which is exactly what she brought with Promiscuous Girl 2. This was a very good story line written with well developed characters and an unbelievable plot but it does bring forth a cliffhanger. I have to be honest and say at first I thought I was going to be a little disappointed because it did start of a tad bit slow which was basically reiteration and the back story being told from PG 1 and the back forth relationship drama with the main two characters but once it picked up it was a never ending, at the edge of my seat, plot twisting, did that really just happen story. I love the way she incorporates her characters from other books into all her stories and it makes us as a reader feel as though we actually know these characters in real life. I was really surprised to see the level of maturity and growth displayed in the main female character. We see her grow from being a very promiscuous and insecure girl that force to use her body in PG 1 to a young woman and mother who now thinks with her heart. She could have easily went back to having sexual encounters to prove a point when she was hurt but she didnt. Now there was something very different about this book from the other books written by Nicole Jackson which was there wasn't a lot of scheming and underhand playing going on in this story line like it has been in the others. The street life of drug dealing, prison terms, and killings didn't really overshadow main concept of the book, which was a love story that readers can actually relate too. With the incorporation of the every changing social media celebrity status and reality TV shows is what really made this story pop and become more realistic. Based on the ending I know there is going to be a part 3 and I just really hope and pray we don't have to wait 2 years for the Part 3. Kudos to you Nicole Jackson with the release of the five star banger.
Nicole. Girl. I'm going to give a quick review, no spoilers. If you aren't familiar with this author you need to catch up fast. She continues to grow as a writer, and her books sort of intertwine. Delving into the dynamics of each couple from the first book, Ms. Jackson has created a virtual dynasty within the pages. Overall, the women in her books go through a lot and seem weak. I get frustrated because although (most of them), have an evolution of sorts, the author starts off writing them as young, dumb girls. As I have purchased all of her titles, I see her strategy, her game plan if you will. Its gratifying to see them grow, mature and yes some win in the end. This couple was one of the best, so I loved rhat we caught up them...I wasn't happy that I had to wait until now to do it. This isn't a series that just runs on and on for the sake of the publishers. You actually are getting a full novel of sorts with each one. What I don't like is how the books all have cliff hanger endings. But this writing/publishing business has been tainted, its grimy and I know that authors have deals, obligations that require them to write several books. Its a five star read if you love GOOD urban fiction. Editing is almost perfect, and I will add that I remember when that was never an issue that readers have to address.
It don't make a lick of sense for this author's pen game to be this lethal!!! Here she goes again giving us crazy love, wild, intoxicating sex, secrets and scandal through this continuation of Taz and Taraj's hood, love story. You want to see this couple win after multiple blows. First from family and then jaded baby mothers that just won't move on. We finally see another side of Taz as he opens up fully to expressing and showing his love for Taraj. Then we see Taraj take baby steps towards independence that ultimately welcomes more conflict in their relationship. My only disappointment is the loss of one of the crew and the wait for part 3!!! This is EPIC! I can't even imagine what part 3 brings but it can't be short of brilliant.
You have done it once again Nicole. Like always, you never disappoint. I know every reader is entitled to their own opinion, but I feel like it's some straight hating going on. I don't know where the lack of drama was because there was plenty. Also, talking about the characters not growing was silly. These are still teenagers and young adults. Y'all just take things too seriously sometimes. Overall, this was an excellent read and I had not one complaint of the cost of the book or it not being on kindle unlimited. Nicole is only one of two authors, the other being Tekerra Allen, that I don't mind spending my hard earned coins on. I'm just upset with that cliffhanger! Lol! Great job once again!
Taraj and Taz.. I love them, they clearly have an unbreakable bond. This book really showed how "Crazy in Love" they both are....Literally! While I enjoyed this story I can't help but to feel like it was incomplete ...it was very open ended like do I just assume that everything is ok or will there be a Part #3?
This is a typical Hood Love story, but only typical in a sense that they have a ton of drama and plenty issues. However there story was not typical in the way the story unfolded. Taraj found a way to get her own get money and it definitely caused a rift between her and Taz.
As a fan, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed. I've read all of her books and honestly think that this, is probably not one of her best works. I stopped reading urban lit awhile ago because it wasn't authentic. Nicole Jackson's have always been well written, with dynamic plots and very well developed characters. This fell short and wasn't worth the $9.99 that I paid for it. It's like this was thrown together overnight. I'm honestly disappointed.
Lani was trifling just as the day is long...smh I bet she learned her lesson everything that looks good to you ain't always good for you. Raj got her grown woman on this time around. I'm glad to see Taz & Taj balanced each other out. I hope they pop up in 21 Questions cause Lani got to get it. Overall this was a good read hell I'm biased I love all of Ms. Jackson's books but trust me she'll have you in your feelings on this one.
What can I say this was definitely worth the wait and money. You had me shed a few tears for the fallen(won't spoil it). I'm hoping it will be a part 3. I need to know what happened with Lyra.
Now this is how you write a damn book !! She has never disappointed and I thought it couldn't get any better than the first read but baby let me tell you . . This book was lit form start to finish. Don't sleep to Nicole Jackson boo !!
A masterpiece! This book was so good I was in my emotions like it was my family.... I love Taz and Taraj whole life lololol!!! "Nothing that's understood needs to be explained".....and drop mic! PG3 come on with it!!!!!
