Their power is awesome... A group of Palestinian extremists have acquired a nuclear warheard with the capacity to kill three million people.
Their demands are simple... Israel must evacuate all civilians and military personnel from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, or the bomb will detonate in the middle of London harbor.
And now, their fate is sealed... Seal Team Seven has been called in to answer the threat -- with deadly force.
Going to be honest. This was a letdown. The Seal Team Seven series for the most part has delivered action, and at least a decent plot line that carries the entire book. Well, the synopsis on the back cover was only a small fraction of what this one was about.
Most of the book was SEAL Team Seven helping the Israelis with terrorists from Gaza to the West Bank to Tel Aviv, each event not that related. Seems to me the Mossad, and the IDF could have taken care of this without the SEALs help.
Pros: Plenty of action, but that's about it.
Cons: The synopsis about Palestinian terrorists threatening to blow up London Harbor with a stolen nuke as a red herring. That story was completed in the first 3-4 chapters in the book. No real plot. Just following the SEALS with the help of the Israeli Army and at times undercover agents.
There was a funny scene where one of the SEALs got drunk and arrested after climbing up the outside of a hotel in Tel Aviv in the nude. Hence the SEALs nickname Jaybird.
Will continue the series since I've come this far.
