As far as small board books go, this is one of the best ones I have ever used during story time because the pictures are big enough to show to the group of children who normally come to Spanish/bilingual story time. I also really like how easy it is to incorporate participation since I can ask the kids what colors certain things are before I read the text.

This is a great story to use for a chicken theme, but I actually used it for a butterfly-themed story time program because there is a blue butterfly in the story.
