The story follows Curtis Thompson and his girlfriend Mel as they fight for survival in an increasingly dark and menacing dystopia where police, gangs, and government agents grapple for power over society. President Hanley was addressing the U.S. nation.
Gun violence has gotten out of control. Congress intends to do something about it.
Firearms will be banned everywhere. All gun owners are required to submit their weapons to a State-sanctioned collection facility or an Acquisition Team member.
Mark, Curtis (dishwasher), Mel (f, English teacher), & Brad (Curtis’ roommate) were at The Clydesdale listening to it on the TV.
Dr. Richardson (NRA) had been murdered.
Curtis Thompson went to work at the Hydratorium cleaning tanks.
Who is Agent Killigan?
What are Curtis & Mel’s plans?

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A fairly well written book. It wasn’t always very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish, but never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great movie, or a mini TV series. Not sure I grasped the whole story content; that said I will rate it at 3/5 stars.
