Do you try to come up with your excuses just so you don't have to go to work? Do you have to do things to get yourself pumped up to go in? Have you ever found yourself frowning in the parking lot and often wishing you were on a career track that made you happier, fulfilled, or utilized you to your full potential?
I could be doing more or I wish I could find something else or I won’t be here long; this is temporary. These are common thoughts that many employees have experienced. And if you can relate to any of the above it’s fair to say that you fall in line with many people that can’t stand their job, that would leave in a heartbeat, and wish they could walk out today!
What can you do about it? Well, if you could find a replacement job so easily, you’d already be gone. Robbing a bank will give you the money you need, but let’s face it, you don’t own a ski mask, your get-away driving skills suck, and the jail time that you can expect to serve makes this not an option. Starting your own business sounds good, but that’s going to take some time and you need relief yesterday. Until one of those things happens (no robbing banks!), you’re there, at that job, so you might as well make the best of it.
