Though the medical info is good, and the pose descriptions are well done, the poses have random made-up names, and that drives me nuts.

This book offers the same mantras that one of the first books my mother had ever given me did - which I no longer have, but I remember it clear enough. For this reason, I like this book. I also found it well-illustrated!
In fact, in that book my mother had given me, I learned what a mantra was.
Since I no longer have the book I remember, I will refer elsewhere:
(especially in Hinduism and Buddhism) a word or sound that is believed to have a special spiritual power
I noticed what I had copied was just the translation of what I wrote above instead of anything useful, so looked up the actual Chinese word instead of the definition, and that might be: 真言

I looked the Hindi up as well, to be inclusive, and I found:
मांत्र
And in Urdu (which I had been learning before I decided to start learning Chinese or Hindi, according to my LiveJournal) it should be:
مَنتر

I found the artwork in this book a helpful guideline. Personally, I am still learning what "perimenopause" is, so I don't know how much I need the menopause symptom relief the cover of this book suggests is within, I think, as my own cycles are still painfully regular (or as approximately as hit-or-miss as they always have been), but it's better to know what is published in the field before I'm really struggling!

May you not struggle, either!

Great book, really comprehensive, and fun to do. I learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses from the stretches.
