Marvelous collection of fascinating Prague esoterica, in a beautiful binding with photos. The author is obviously very learned in a number of fields. Selections are succint, to the point, and very insightful. A rich compendium of Prague's secrets, both weird and wonderful. The book replaces - but thankfully does not duplicate the older book, "Esoteric Prague" by Jiri Kuchar which is no longer in print. I am a tour guide in Prague, so this collection is invaluable to my work. Highly recommended.

A lovely little book that goes beyond the usual guide books - I've been in Prague a while but I didn't know about most of these places. Nice to have some links to alchemy and ghost sightings also. I will definitely be standing by Vysehrad Castle on a full moon to see if I got spot the lady in white!
Recommend for both visitors and residents of the capital.

Although Prague is a wonderful city and there is a lot to discover I found most of the "secrets" offered by this book uninteresting. The book looks nice but I expected more.
