2019 bk 26. A fun romp through regency England. This is a tale told in the classic regency style of neighbors from childhood who misunderstand each other in adulthood. A reformed gamester with a sense of responsibility for the world, a young woman who is so blinded by what he was, that she cannot see who he is now. A kleptomaniac aunt who likes to 'borrow' items from the Crown Prince, a maid with a watchful eye, and a glowering man who loves the aunt. Romance, fun, misadventure across generations. This book brought several chuckles, one big guffaw, and many little cheers of glee.
