This is a beautiful book filled with beautiful insights regarding women's fertility, and how to take our power back, our birthright. Contraception and abortion are somewhat controversial topics if you consider the complexity of a woman's emotions, spirit, and philosophies in relation to her own ability to choose whether or not she wants to bear children controversial; I, for one, consider them a huge source of growth, empowerment, sometimes fear and malaise--but only because we have to contend with those who do not know any better, yet claim they do because they feel they have a special relationship with God (only through religious establishments and dogma, of course). We also have to contend with ourselves. Those of us who are connected with our hearts, indeed the seat of the soul, soon learn that although taking control of our fertility can be scary, we are made to do it. We are here to find ourselves, and part of that is knowing what we want and what we deserve. You have choice. Even when the powers that be attempt to take that choice away from you through modern medical practices (or, more accurately, through their absence), there are herbal options available. Do not fear--this book is for those in the process of making difficult decisions, and better yet, for those who have yet to need to. Learn early and learn well! This is a wonderful book for women of all ages, a great book for young women that are ready for it.
