This book is a really great understanding of the purim story and really enhanced my understanding during megilah reading this year.
That being said, the fact that this book switches between dialog (which is often repetitive) and just narration is jarring. Overall this book just needed a better idea of what it wad going to be before the writing started, but if you can get past the minor rookie errors, it's a really great read full of lots of insights not just about Torah but about motives for each person in the story.

A more complete version of the story of how ester saved the Jewish people. For years we learned a simple story of a foolish king and his advisor Haman and the jews. But this book brings the whole story to life. I learned so much and so happy I got to spend Shavout reading and analyzing the book.
