This is a cute little book with cartoon illustrations that has a story that rhymes as you read it. I love how the little mouse thinks the woman is playing hide and seek with him instead of her actually being scared. This would be a great read aloud for kids.

A mouse sneaks about a house, "hiding" from a woman doing chores. When the woman actually spies the mouse, she shrieks and runs away, which begs the question. Who is really hiding and who is seeking?
