Power and Elle: A Memphis Love Story

When Power approached Elle, love was the last thing on her mind. She had just gotten out of a relationship with a man who cheated on her because she devoted so much time to her dancing career. This book was great I love Elle and Power relationship it was just so inspirational and I'm dying to see what's going to happen between Rule and Camryn that's going to be interesting. B.Love I'm loving your books

Oh my goodness, this book was freaking amazing! It was so refreshing and sweet and real and just...perfect! Before reading African American romance/urban fiction books, I only read contemporary (non ethnic) romance books because I'd never come across any African American romance books that were about modern black love. This was perfect for me. It has everything I love- it's modern, and urban yet it has a bit of a sophistication and maturity that is missing with a lot of books being released in this genre. Definitely one of my favorites. I can't wait until May for book 2.

Sweet love
This was a really sweet story. Power and Elle had both felt a terrible hand when it came to past relationships, but that didn't stop Power. He knew he still wanted his forever love and was determined to get it, and when he spotted Elle at the school he taught, he just knew she was his forever thing. Elle, on the other hand, is intrigued by Power, but she's hesitant to give Love another turn after her past hurt. The relationship between these two was sweet and healing. I loved how Power handled Elle, especially during their disagreements; he was so mature. Elle's development was so realistic because sometimes you just can't get over your pain so quickly. Their love was beautiful.

This was cute, a dancer and a retired street dude turned community businessman/health coach/teacher falling in love? I’m in. Elle was doing her thing in the dance world while Power had a whole empire of legit businesses, and I loved that about both of them.
Their chemistry was instant, which I normally don’t mind, but I was hoping for a little more tension or drama. The most conflict came from the exes popping back up, and even that didn’t fully hit for me. I did appreciate the attempt at a “wait until marriage” storyline; we don’t get that enough in Black romance. But Power switching up threw me off. Like… “just one stroke”? Ok, sir we all know what that means!!!
There was a lot of miscommunication that felt a little unnecessary at times. And Elle… girl. That crawling on the floor scene? Be serious.
Still, I enjoyed it enough to finish and I am hype for the next story with Camryn and Rules. That dynamic already feels like it’s gonna bring the heat and the banter.
Overall, a solid read that just didn’t fully grab me like I wanted it to.

Power!!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! This book is in my top 3!! The story flowed effortlessly. I could feel ever emotion through each page. The emotional and PHYSICAL love shown from Power and Elle can’t be explained. You have to feel it through the well written words. OMG, I can’t get enough of this couple! Power is my new book BAE, and he and Elle are definitely relationship goals! I need more from them! The author is truly gifted, I look forward to reading more from her!

Haven't read a B. Love book I didn't love
Power and Elle has been added to my steadily growing list of B. Love favorites. I loved these two well Elle trying NOT to love Power, but he wasn't haven't it. I am glad he got her over her fear of loving again. Yeah they had a little hiccup but it worked out. Now I must download Camryn and Rule's books to continue their story and get into the next couple.

Power + Elle
This was a beautiful story. I enjoyed it. I love how patient Power was with her throughout the book and how he understood her reservations. How Elle was also able to be open and accepting of his love was something I admired. She wasn’t difficult at all. She knew there was a pull between them and she embraced it rather than holding on to the past. This was a refreshing read, and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

Power and Elle were 2 that had lots of love to offer. While their previous relationships were full of turmoil, once they overcame fears and obstacles, all was well. Power was what his name implied. Remarkable words of wisdom from Elle's mother. Looking forward to reading about Rule & Camryn. Wonderful standalone love story

AWESOME BOOK!
B. Love you constantly drop gems in these books and I am grateful! Power and Elle were drawn together from the very start. I loved how Power was willing to wait until she was ready to fully commit to him before becoming physical in any sense of the word with her. I loved that Power was willing to love Elle past her pain and how he was simply okay with being her friend. I was so glad when Elle got her life and allowed Power into her heart. Trina and Rico are so sad smdh but you know what they say you don't know what you got til it's gone. I'm ready for Cam and Rule now

Sweet story
Power and Elle were obviously meant to be. The harmony exhibited in their relationship could only come from 2 individuals who are equally yoked. B clearly communicated the importance of not making your new partner pay for the sins of your ex. Lesson Learned!

B. Love did not disappoint. I loved the fast pace way the character tumbled into love because it was relatable. B showed how love can come knocking whenever it wants and we have the option to allow it in or turn it away, but which ever we choose effects us just as deeply.

I love , love Powee and Elle together his patience is so unheard of. I loved how he wanted to respect her in every way possible. And I understand why it was hard for her to let her guard down. I was so shocked when Rico named his baby after her. Like my guy that is not a compliant.

So sweet!
Power & Elle! I loved the spirit that flowed between these two. Power felt Elle the moment he saw her! And like must people he tried to run. Elle's spirit regonizes Power the moment she hears his voice. It's a beautiful story.
