I used this book to help prepare for my upcoming wedding. This gave wonderful insight on marriage as a vocation, responsibility in parenthood, and the sanctification of marriage. The author pulled from Church teaching and many Church doctors to help support his claims. I enjoyed his frank language and his call to action for married couples. My only complaint is that you can tell this book is a little dated, but other than that it is a great and wonderful book.

This book is great for those who are married or those who are considering marriage as a vocation. It really shows how marriage truly is a calling from God that will, by His grace , lead both spouses to greater union not only with eachother but more importantly with our Blessed Lord.

I can't really fault this book, for fidelity to doctrine, for humility, or for accessibility.

It is clearly more of a handbook than a treatise, and the hispanic background of the authors perhaps shows in places, but these are not detractions.

The only gripe is with the poor print quality.
