Fantastic, well worth the wait.
The story is one that many of us can relate to. Arriving on an island and having to find, new jobs, new friends and new love.
Daisy arrives in Jersey after hearing about the island from a man she spent time with whilst traveling.
Brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters. Highly recommended read!!

Daisy once traveled through Vietnam where she met Gabe, a gorgeous man who knew exactly what she needed. When her mother gets ill Daisy has no choice but to go back to her hometown. Daisy promised Gabe that they would stay in touch, but some events that are happening back home are stopping her from doing that. Gabe has told her about this beautiful island Jersey many times and when she can get a job there Daisy doesn't hesitate and moves to Jersey.

Gabe is a marine biologist and is used to traveling around the world. His famous parents are the proud owners of the Encore in Jersey. They have to go away because of their profession, so Gabe returns home to hold the fort together with his grandmother Lydia. Even though it has been two years he has never forgotten that beautiful girl he got to know in Vietnam. He is stunned when he finds out she's working at the Encore.

Gabe and Daisy both can't deny that the attraction towards each other is still there but time hasn't been standing still and some things have changed. Is it possible for them to find their way back to each other once more?

Daisy is a kind and sweet person who is used to being very private about her life. Growing up with her mother she never had any friends. Daisy has faced a lot of tragic and sad things all by herself. When her mother dies she truly is on her own. Daisy has strong believes and I admired her for the fact that she stood by her values. She's a hardworking and loyal employee and she also is a very talented artist. Daisy is a person who is easy to like and love.

Gabe is a gentleman. He's passionate about his work and he is also good for his family and friends. He has a strong sense of responsibility and that has also gotten him into a tough spot. Every woman would wish and hope to find a man just like Gabe. He's very sweet towards his grandmother and that really touched me.

Georgina Troy was born and raised in Jersey. You can feel the love she has for this island in the way she describes the beautiful bays and surroundings I could see myself being there. Jersey sounds like a wonderful place to go to and I completely understand why Daisy came to this island. Because of A Jersey Bombshell I have put Jersey on my list of places I would like to visit.

If you are looking for a sweet romantic read during you own holiday then A Jersey Bombshell is a story you can't miss out on. Georgina Troy will take you to the island and will keep you there until you have finished the beautiful story of Daisy and Gabe.

I’m certainly no stranger to Georgina Troy novels. I love the Channel Islands where I’ve holidayed many times over the years and reading her books, for me, bring back many well known locations and memories from those times. A Jersey Bombshell tells the story of Daisy and Gabriel who meet and fall in love while travelling in Vietnam. Family circumstances bring Daisy home and she loses contact with him. Meeting Aaron and beginning a new relationship, she soon discovers she has made the biggest mistake of her life. Aaron is possessive, controlling and sometimes violent and soon Daisy realises in order to escape him she needs to move away – far away. She lands a reception job in Jersey at the Encore, an art deco hotel owned by Francesca Fiore, an actress and her husband Rick Malone, a musician. As their careers frequently see them absent, the hotel is looked after by Francesca’s mother Lydia Grey, a 1950s movie star. Now as Francesca and Rick Malone are about to embark on tours which take them away from the island, Lydia has enlisted the help of her grandson to run the hotel. To Daisy’s surprise he turns out to be none other than Gabriel Wilson, the man she fell in love with in Vietnam.

Gabriel is delighted to see Daisy again but feels she is keeping secrets about her past. Although she tells him her reason for leaving was to be with her terminally ill mother, she is very circumspect about her reasons for not keeping in touch since they parted two years ago. Invited to dinner by Lydia, Daisy and Gabriel soon begin seeing other again. Then on a picnic with friends someone from Gabriel’s past turns up unexpectedly and throws everything into confusion. And to add to Daisy’s woes, first her estranged father and then Aaron make an appearance.

This is a lovely romance with some heart in the mouth moments. Can Daisy and Gabriel eventually find love again? Will she forgive her father for abandoning her mother and how can she warn fellow receptionist Fi that the guy she is dating is her unpleasant and quite dangerous ex-? Added to this we have Lydia’s past secret romance with handsome Italian Lorenzo, which she has kept secret for years. There are great characters, humour, drama, and lots more in this story which make it a thoroughly entertaining read.

My Opinion

Georgina Troy has yet to write a book that I haven't enjoyed, so when I see that there is a new release I will always read it. For me this was a lovely book to escape with, it was just so relaxing. This book is part of a series and whilst it would work as a standalone I would highly recommend reading the books in the correct order. This is a great read and is going to make for an enjoyable summer read.

This is the fourth book in the Jersey Scene' series and combines romance, the beautiful island of Jersey and a touch of the exotic in the shape of Vietnam. Once again there are some fabulous characters; I especially liked the theatrical owners of the hotel but the grandmother is my favourite. Her story might be the back story but I found it just as interesting as the modern day romance of her grandson and Daisy. I also loved the fact that characters from the previous books make cameo appearances - a nice touch. Suspense is cleverly interwoven throughout the story and I would definitely mark this as one for the holidays. Even if you're not going on holiday, you can escape into the lavish descriptions of the Jersey scenery. It's one of those books that you'll wish you could read again for the first time as soon as you finish it.

Yet another book by this author littered with spelling mistakes, poor grammar and inconsistencies. I’m beginning to wonder if this author is just plain illiterate, were these not proof read before publication? I only read all 4 books as I had downloaded the box set on kindle otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered carrying on with the series after book 1.

Georgina Troy’s Coming Home to the Sunflower Cliffs is a touching, entertaining and feel-good tale about love lost and found and second chances you will not be able to resist.

Jersey is the last place in the whole world Gabriel wants to be in. But needs must and with his family’s hotel to save and his aging showbiz parents not up to the task of running The Encore, it’s up to Gabriel to step into the breach and try to reverse the fortunes of the beautiful Art Deco property. Gabriel was expecting a challenge, but even he hadn’t anticipated what an uphill struggle it was going to be!

His parents are useless as they are more concerned with keeping up appearances and staying in the limelight than with cash-flow. Gabriel is apprehensive that he might have to stay in Jersey longer than anticipated, but it looks like the hotel will prove to be the least of his worries when he meets The Encore’s new receptionist Daisy, whom he had met before…

Years earlier, Daisy and Gabriel had met and fallen in love in Vietnam. Only circumstances had forced them apart, but now that they’ve found each other again, they cannot help but wonder whether they should give their love another try. But as the two of them want different things from life, is a future for them possible? Or is their relationship just not meant to be?

A gorgeous romantic read that beautifully brings Jersey to life, Coming Home to the Sunflower Cliffs is a fun, compelling and wholly enjoyable tale from Georgina Troy that touches the heart and tickles the funny bone. A delightful charmer that will make you fall in love with both Jersey and Gabriel and Daisy, Coming Home to the Sunflower Cliffs is an uplifting escape from Georgina Troy perfect for losing yourself in.

I read a lot of books that have tough subjects to get through and sometimes I just need an escapist read. A fabulous book to just read in an afternoon, relax and forget about it all. Georgina Troy has books just like this, the afternoon disappeared as I read while sipping tea.

Yes, the characters have problems, just like we all do, and it seems like they won’t be resolved but by the book’s end they are.

I think one of the things I love about reading rom-coms is a guaranteed happy ending. Life is hard so read books that make you happy. I loved the descriptions of the breathtaking island of Jersey.

Life certainly holds surprises, doesn't it? Gabriel, a former Jersey island resident feels he needs to come home. His parents are having trouble with their hotel, financially and otherwise. He'll come home make the hotel have a quick turn around and be on his way.

To his shock Daisy, a woman he met while in Vietnam years ago is now the receptionist at his parents' hotel. He hadn't been able to get Daisy off his mind, unfortunately things don't always work out like we plan them too. Will this be the second chance they need or will the extra baggage they are carrying get in the way of this potential sunny island romance?

A breathtakingly delightful summer romance you won’t easily forget.

This is Daisy and Gabriel's story. Reunited after several years, it is clear that they still have a connection abut there are some unanswered questions in their past. The hotel on the island of Jersey almost stands as a character in its own right, It is a central hub for those who live and work in there and it is clear that there is a real family feel.

Gabriel's family are all lively characters who add colour to the story. Daisy's family on the other hand, have a much darker tome. The more you find out about them, the more you can understand Daisy. In Gabriel's Grandmother, Daisy finds a deep friendship and source of comfort. As some dark secrets emerge, Daisy struggles to keep her positive mindset. Looking for a new start, she tries her best to keep looking for what she wants for her future.

In short: sunny days and a wide range of characters

Thank you to @rachelsrandomresources for inviting us onto this book tour.

I love @georginatroy books and have read of them so far.

I love returning to Jersey and hearing about old and new characters.

This time it's daisy who comes from Devon but after the death of her mother not hearing from her father and having a possessive ex boyfriend she escapes to Jersey in the hope of her ex not finding her. She starts working the summer season at the encore Hotel not realising that a while ago when she was travelling she meet the owners son Gabrielle and fell madly in love with him. He has now returned to help run the hotel in his parents absence. Can they make a go of things or are their too many problems to stand in their way.

I loved all the characters especially Gabrielles grandmother Lydia she's so funny and down to earth and does not want them to miss out on lost love like she did.
It's a lovely read to pack for your holidays.

This is a gorgeous romance set on the beautiful island of Jersey again from Georgina Troy.
I loved seeing Daisy and Gabriel rekindle their friendship after being apart for so long. The chemistry between them was instant.

Georgina Troy always writes such great characters and the supporting cast in this one were good fun - I especially liked Fi and Lydia.

I flew through the chapters of this one and enjoyed seeing Daisy grow in confidence as she fell in love with the island and it’s community. I dare say you’ll do the same
