I've read and listened to a lot of personal finance content for my work, most of which is the "same old shit." This book is different and very special. It's full of humor, earnest personal anecdotes, and passionate political takes. It frequently addresses topics you won't find in any other personal finance book: how to make life decisions when one choice closes off several alternative paths irrevocably, how to deal with handicaps and failure, choosing a spouse, and several common "brain game" fallacies, among many others. The author has skin in the game to discuss these topics as someone who retired early, homeschooled his own children using this curriculum, etc. Highly recommend.
