Alien Warrior Brides #6

Alien Champion's Bride

Rate this book
An alien champion meets a nerdy and sweet girl, but they have to stop his father from stealing her home. Alien Warrior Brides is a series of standalone stories with a connected universe. Each book can be read separately. Guaranteed HEA. No cliffhangers. No cheating. Expect lots of steam. Zhanshi is a sector local legend with a short social attention span and a growing boredom with brainless, vapid women (who used to be fun). He's done with being a playboy. He has been coming into his own for some time now with no credit from his regularly condescending father. Being repeatedly shut down when he attempts to join the discussion table with his father's contemporaries, he is slowly realizing that his father does not plan to allow him any real power in the kingdom. Annaisha is a keen, selective, and vastly powerful woman. Usually quite able to run her planetoid retreat without a hitch, she has been noticing her droids coming down with an infection that matches very few documented droid sicknesses on the books. It could ruin her business entirely, but more importantly all of the people she regularly helps with her retreat space would be lacking the high quality of therapeutic attention she has been providing since she took over the regular running of the planetoid for her uncle. Zhanshi's kingdom may be able to "help," for a "price." She soon learns that his father, the king, intends for them to marry for his own nefarious reasons.

Alien Champion's Bride

I was unsure of what I was reading. I couldn't keep up with the changing situations, if there ever was one. I couldn't seem to get into the book. It had to many things going on at any given time that made any sense. This was not a book I'd recommend.

A simple short adventure story. A few typos that didn't distract from the main story.

CAN THE CROWN PRINCE HELP THE PLANETOID OWNER SAVE HER ROBOTS AND HER HOME

aylor Neptune has fast become one of my favorite Alien romance authors. I love her work and she did not disappoint me with "Alien Champion's Bride." I loved the different take on this book that she took from the other ones in this series. I thought it was a real unique idea to have a "planetoid" or a carnival like planet where it is run by robots and it brings in money or credits as is term for currency in this series of books. She grabs your attention at the beginning of the book and holds it till the end of this book. When I am reading her books I can't seem to put them down. I normally read till I finish them. The story line is unique and the characters of the book are amazing and work really well with the story line. A book that you cannot miss. I recommend this book to all mature reader 18 years of age or older because of the explicit sex content in the book. You will love this book.

Zhanshi is a sector local legend and champion in the ring, but outside the ring he is just the crown prince. His father really doesn't listen to him when he speaks or pays him any attention. He has been trying to be more than just a playboy with not thanks to the his regularly condescending father the King. His father would shut him down at any attempts to join the discussion with his father's friends. He has developed a short social attention span and has grown bored with the women of the planet that he use to think were fun. With all that his father is into and is doing Zanshi is slowly realizing that his father does not plan to allow him any real power in the kingdom.

Annaisha is a keen, selective, and vastly powerful woman who can usually run her planetoid retreat without an problems. Until she one day notices her droids coming down with a virus that she cannot find in the books that she has access too. Though she is not poor, but she has to keep the planetoid running and this virus could ruin her business entirely. It could also affect the high quality of therapeutic attention she has been providing for the customers that need it since she took over the running of the planetoid for her uncle. She sends an email to the person her mechanic recommends and is invited to bring her sick bots to the planet for help, not realizing at the time she is being set up.

Zhanshi's and Annaisha work together to solve the problem of her bots, then they discover a scheme by Zanshi's father and he intends for them to marry for his own devious reasons. Can Zanshi and Annaisha stop his father even though he is King? Will the antics of Zhanshi's father keep the two of them apart, or will they be able to find what they mean to each other?

No spoilers. An Alien must read. ARC free book given for a honest review.

Alien Champion’s Bride is a wildly fun and delightfully entertaining story! I love being swept away in each and every story that I have been graced with having the privilege to read from this amazing author. Each one is beautifully unique, but they never fail to touch the very depths of my heart. I am a very enthusiastic reader in regards to this wickedly talented author!

Annaisha is just trying to make a living. She has a small but happy life with her AI bots that she builds and loves. When her bots begin to have issues that no one can fix, she is pulled out of her comfort zone and into the direct path of a prince named Zhanshi. Zhanshi just wants to find someone who is interested in him and not his wealth or his royal position. When he meets Annaisha, he is both intrigued and mystified by this beauty who is so much more then she seems. While they unravel the mystery of her sick bots, they find that there is something building between them. Will Annaisha allow herself to open her life to more and wonderful possibilities, or will she push him away to keep herself safe and her heart protected?

These two characters are truly mesmerizing, and I feel in love with both of them. I loved watching their characters develop and deepen. Their connection was breathtaking and beautiful to watch grow so naturally. They were so fun to follow on this exciting adventure. I loved every minute of it!

I never fail to fall in love each of the Taylor Neptune’s beautiful works of art. Combining scifi and romance makes for such a wonderfully unpredictable journey. Each story continues to define and intensify the incredible talent of this wonderful author. When you need something different in your reading library for a change that will make you smile easily and brighten your heart, try out of one Taylor Neptune’s wonderful masterpieces.

This is the 6th book in the Alien Warrior Brides series. Our H in this book is Zhanshi, A Prince who is growing bored with the playboy way. Our h is Annaisha, A strong, independent woman who runs her own retreat.

Zhanshi is a Prince that is tired of women that only see him as a prince. He wants to find someone that cares about him. His father has no intention of giving him any say so or handing him over any power. He is forever sending women his way though. Annaisha runs her retreat with her bots/droids. It is her passion and she is happy with her life. She notices that some of her droids have been sluggish and acting wrong. She takes them to her mechanic, hoping he can fix them. He informs her that he can't and that she needs to see a specialist that he knows on Zhongguo. Annaisha is excited to go to Zhongguo and find out what is wrong with her bots but when she gets there, she gets the run around from the specialist. Annaisha being on Zhongguo sets her on the path to meet Zhanshi.

This is easily one of my favorites of this series. I really enjoyed both characters, especially Annaisha. She was strong and independent while having a deep love and loyalty for her droids. I can't wait to see who is next. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoy reading alien romance stories along with my paranormal romances. This is a well-written story with interesting characters and a storyline that is unique. There are surprises you don't see coming which I enjoy.

Zhanshi is the son of the leader of his planet and pretty bored with his life. The women are too easy. He wants to have a real role in the government but his father gives him no opportunity. When Annaisha arrives at the palace, she intrigues him. She is not flirty and easy like the other women.

Annaisha runs a planetary retreat on her own planet and enjoys her independent life. She has her droids to keep her company and when they become ill due to some virus she is desperate for help. She is pointed to a man who works for Zhanshi's father for assistance and he arranges for her to come. She does not expect to be invited to events at the palace and it makes her uncomfortable. There are plans in place neither knows about that involve them both.

It is a pretty quick read for me and definitely kept my attention. I enjoyed learning more about the characters. Annaisha is very different from most of the characters in these types of romances. She is much more independent.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

I did not mind this book, I found it quite a bit different in the story line to the normal Alien meets girl Alien gets girl theme. Zhanshi is a warrior prince but spends his time fighting in a ring and is a great champion. His father the king is self absorb and never let Zhanshi have opinions about the ruling the empire. Annaisha is a quite unassuming girl from a different race whose sole purpose in life is her bots (robots), which she designed and built herself. She is also telepathic and able to converse with her bots. She also runs her own theme park on a planetoid. The bots develop a virus which she cannot cure and she ends up on Zhanshi planet seeking help. The two meet, but Zhanshi father is up to no good. He wants Annaisha's planetoid . You will have to read the story to find out how it ends. Thank you to Taylor Neptune for the entertaining review copy.

Zhanshi is a champion. He resents that his father uses his fame to further his plans of domination. He's tired of the games. When Annaisha is thrust at him, he wonders what his father is up too. She's here to have her bots cured. She's being given the runaround. What is going on? I enjoyed this romantic adventure. Zhanshi is a powerful hero. I liked his caring nature. He wants to help Annaisha get back to her planet and escape his father's treachery. These two are made for each other. Annaisha is an innocent. She's fighting to keep her Recreational business afloat. I enjoyed the bots, especially Zip. He added his unique personality to the story. Taylor Neptune has a unique style. I enjoy her SiFi romances. Her characters are interesting and the story fast paced.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author. I am loving this series.

This is another quick read (I read it in one sitting on my way to work) but amazing all the same the storyline could've been a bit longer and I felt it was a bit rushed at the end but it is definitely worth a read for anyone who enjoys the series or someone who has never read one of these books.

I can't wait to read more of them.
