How much there is to look at and think about with Tana Hoban as a guide. Intriguing shapes--spirals, curves, fanshapes, and lines--are all around us, if we open our eyes and look. Hoban makes an artistic adventure out of everyday events, sharpening our perceptions and delights. Full-color photos.
This book can be used for: - geometry lesson on shapes and types of lines - relate shapes to everyday objects - to create a story using the pictures - give inspiration for those who have writers block
I like that this book can teach kids to see the shapes in everyday objects, but some of the photos are just creepy, and the rest aren't especially interesting.
