About the author

Angel Miller-Barrino is the founder of Purpose and Praise Ministries. The ministry was established as a way to inspire and teach Gods people the truth of the Word and bring restoration to broken lives. Her goal is to use her own life experiences to show love to those suffering from broken relationships and marriages. Through many challenges and triumphs she has received restoration from God. Being a survivor of toxic relationships had truly given her a heart for community outreach and building Gods kingdom through the edification of his people.
Barrino is a praise and worship leader, a Christian writer and recording artist. She has worked with various artists and willingly shares her gifts through word and song. Among her other achievements, she has participated in the recording of two albums. One of which she was lead vocalist for the song The Storm. She is also a former member of the group the Promise under the direction of Jeffrey Adams.
She currently resides in Greensboro, NC with her daughter. Her first book entitled His Purpose My Praise, was released in September of 2010. She is currently recording her first solo album to be released in the summer of 2011. When she is not writing or recording she enjoys making custom jewelry pieces. Additionally she is the business manager for The Original Sons of Zion from Greensboro, NC in which her father Ronnie Miller Sr. is the lead vocalist and manager.
