In Search of God

by Waltraud Herbstrith (Editor)

Waltraud Herbstrith explains the spiritual power of Christian meditational practices. Though she is a nun living in a convent, she understands those of us who must develop our spiritual lives in the midst of secular society. She emphasizes the necessity for moments of silence in our daily lives and gives suggestions on how to make room for them.

Sensitive spiritual biographies of Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Therese of Lisieux, and Edith Stein show how to arrive at that place in life where prayer, meditation, and action are all unified.

Short but motivational. Now I want to reread Dark Night of the Soul and The Interior Castle, and to read more by and about Edith Stein.
